What is Corporate Culture and how it is defined? Corporate culture develops over time in organizations, mostly from the traits of the People or the Company’s employees. In the case of Companies, it is how the management and leadership interact and handle the people and business transactions in the organization.  It refers to the shared values, attitudes of the management, compliance with standards, conventions and regulations in its business dealings. It is the characteristic behaviour of the management and its employees that brings focus on the Company’s goals, structure, business strategies and its approach to its stakeholders. These are their customers, investors and also the community in which it operates.

The underlying values of a strong corporate culture in an organization is its ability to maintain its productivity and performance, that is sustainable and continues to keep the market share. This leads to the development and the importance of a Performance Culture. Organizational culture develops over time – by visionary leaders, through critical incidents and environmental influences.  How the organization succeed in the competitive environment would very much depend on many operational factors in the workplace as well as recognizing the people culture, technology advances and the practice of good governance.

In this workshop, you will explore the various types of corporate culture with a view that you, as a team player is very much part of the organization, will want to see to the establishment of a high-performance work culture. It will require you to identify, review, re-invent, remove the weak cultures, and/or reinforce the current culture so that the organization will emerge as a leader in the industry with superior results and achieve its business goals.
