 MEF, MTUC agree to amend Employment Act, Trade Unions Act
Malaysian Employers Federation (MEF) and Malaysian Trades Union Congress (MTUC) today reached a consensus on certain areas of the proposed amendments to the Employment Act 1955 and Trade Unions Act 1959.

 National Labour Advisory Council Technical Committee (NLACTC) Meeting on 11 Nov 2019 to Discuss The Proposed Amendments To The Employment Act 1955 and Trade Unions Act 1959
MEF and MTUC representatives attended the NLAC TC meeting. MEF was represented by its President Tan Sri Dato’ Azman Shah Haron, Executive Director Datuk Haji Shamsuddin Bardan and a number of MEF council members. MTUC was represented by its President Dato’ Halim Mansor, Secretary-General Mr. J. Solomon and a number of its office bearers.

 Graduates face skills mismatch and job shortages
Malaysian Employers Federation (MEF) ED Datuk Shamsuddin Bardan said every year, over 250,000 graduates are produced at both degree and diploma levels, but jobs for them are less than 100,000.
