Human Resources Advisor - SEA
(Jalan P. Ramlee, Kuala Lumpur)

Responsibilities:

This role will focus on managing a number of HR transactional activities and providing initial level advice on employment legislation, company policies and HR practices, ensuring all actions are managed in a timely manner and documentation is maintained. In addition to transactional work, this role will also provide general assistance to the Human Resources Manager-SEA on project work and as required. This role will provide HR support to the Malaysia and Singapore offices.
  • Provide support for full life-cycle recruiting i.e. sourcing, posting job advertisements, shortlisting, conducting behavior-based interviews, extending offers, etc. 
  • Handles payroll processing – data entered in system and information provided to payroll service provider. Checks and ensures accuracy in all payroll information provided to and by payroll service provider.
  • HR Transactions - Manage all amendments to employment conditions, monitor employee probation, process staff termination and monthly reporting to insurance broker.
  • Collation of information and submission of HR Reports according to deadlines.
  • Maintain and update accurate employee data in the HR system.
    To assist in handling Employee Relations and Industrial Relations issues and to provide constructive feedback and solutions.
  • Handle all HRDF training grant applications and claims.
    Handle the Graduate Trainee Program (GTP) under MDeC.
  • General administrative tasks and support to the HR Manager-SEA as required.
  • Assist the HR Manager-SEA with HR projects as per the Group HR as HR   SEA project plan.
Requirements:
  • A relevant tertiary education. 
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in Human Resources. 
  • Conversant with Malaysia and Singapore Employment laws.
  • Good experience in Recruitment and Selection and payroll processing.
  • Dynamics and tactful personality, high degree of professionalism and integrity with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work under pressure in order to meet tight deadlines.
  • Team player with initiative and the ability to work independently under tight schedules.
  • High degree of multitasking required with high attention to details and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Proactive, resourceful, self motivated and confident.
  • Good working knowledge MS Office – Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • You must be confident in dealing with Senior Managers.
  • Ideally you will have worked for a multi-national organisation.
