The MEF is organising a one-day Online National Conference with the objectives to:
  • Draw upon the knowledge, expertise and share latest guidance to private sector employers on safe at work upon return-to-work; managing the flexible working arrangements particularly the hybrid work arrangement; and the employer’s role in addressing substance abuse at the workplace.
  • Facilitate the discussion on impact of COVID-19 on Malaysian labour laws, the challenges faced and emerging policy implications and the need for partnership among tripartite partners
  • Provide opportunities to share and facilitate peer-to-peer exchanges of good practices among participants.

Director General, Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH)

IR. ZAILEE BIN DOLLAH has been served in the DOSH since 1986.He is currently holding the position of the Director General of DOSH Malaysia, that responsible to lead and oversee an organization with more than 1500 officers and staffs at 15 state offices and 5 branches in Malaysia. As the DG, he is accountable to steer DOSH in ensuring the safety, health and welfare of people at work as well as protecting other people from the safety and health hazards arising from work activities.
Y Bhg. Encik Mohd Farid Shah Bin Mohd Basir, Chief People Officer, MBSB Bank & MEF Vice-President

ENCIK FARID BASIR, joined MBSB Bank as the new Chief People Officer on April 19, 2021. With experience in Human Resources (HR) disciplines spanning over two decades, he brings along a wealth of professional insights to MBSB, having had career exposures abroad and across industries, ranging from telecommunications, insurance to fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and banking. A strong advocate of leadership excellence initiatives for the younger generation of workforce, Encik Farid is presently the Vice- President of MEF.

Principal Assistant Director (Medical Treatment), Agensi Anti Dadah Kebangsaan (AADK) Malaysia

DR. RAVI RAMADAH is currently Principal Assistant Director (Medical Treatment) at National Antidrug Agency (NADA). Dr Ravi has been involved in designing and implementing medical services for people who use drugs within National Antidrug Agency facilities since 2015. As a part of his duties for NADA, he often engaged with various inter-agency discussion as well as NGOs related to substance abuse issue in Malaysia. His works includes harm reduction component of National Drug Policy, Drug Treatment Transformation Lab 2017, and various engagement for drug law amendments. He worked in few government hospitals prior to his current position.

Under Secretary, Bahagian Dasar of Ministry of Human Resources (MoHR), Malaysia

DATIN ROSZANINA WAHAB is currently the Under Secretary of Policy Division of Ministry of Human Resources, Malaysia since 15 March 2021. She has vast experience in public service delivery of 29 years of services particularly in the organisation’s operation and management. In 2011, she was the Deputy Director of Organisational Development in Public Service Department. Later, in 2015, she was appointed as the Chief Section of Asset Monetisation of Ministry of Finance. In 2016, she was appointed as the Senior Deputy Director in Ministry of Finance and in 2019, she was attached to Prime Minister’s Department as the Under Secretary of Hal Ehwal Jemaah Menteri Section.
Y Bhg. Encik Mohd Effendy Bin Abdul Ghani, Deputy President, Malaysian Trade Unions Congress (MTUC)

ENCIK MOHD EFFENDY ABDUL GHANI is the Deputy President of Malaysian Trade Unions Congress (MTUC) since January 2020. He has vast experiences as Unionist as he was the General Secretary of Union of Pos Malaysia Clerical (UPCW) from 2008 to January 2020. Later, in January 2020, he was elected as the President of UPCW till now. He has been involved in the union movement since 1996 and he has been active in the trade union movement since 2000 until now. His involvement in the national labor movement when he joined the Malaysian Trades Union Congress (MTUC) and UNI Malaysia Labor Center (UNI MLC) since 2008.

MEF Senior Consultant – Industrial Relations

Prior to joining MEF in April 2004, MR GOH SENG WING is a former Deputy Director General of Labour and a former Senior Director of Industrial Relations, Malaysia. He is able to exploit on his rich experiences obtained from the Government service in serving the members of the Organization. He has obtained a Master in Human Resource Management (OUM) and Certification in Training (PSMB). He is now the MEF Senior Consultant – Industrial Relations.
