SME Skills Scheme Terms & Conditions:
1. SME employers should meet the official national SME definition and subject to any latest amendment & expansion of the PSMB Act 2001, as per the SME categories below.

2. All PSMB registered and non-registered SME employers and their employees (trainees) are eligible to participate in the SME Skills scheme.

3. Each employee - only entitled to attend one (1) approved course (per IC) under the SME Skills scheme.

4. Each employer - Maximum number of 5 employees only allowed to participate per course.
5. PSMB registered employers with arrears of levy and unpaid interests are NOT allowed to apply SME Skills scheme.
6. Participants must comply with the minimum requirement of 80% of training hours as per the online attendance report and complete activities and assignments under the course.
7. No withdrawal allowed, however replacement allowed within 5 days of timing.
8. Other documents required by HRD Corp like: Online Attendance, Output Assessment (evaluation) must submit.
Please note the Certificates will be issued upon full settlement of course fees by HRDC and this may be delayed between - 5 months, subject to HRDC approvals.

MOHD FARID SHAH BIN MOHD BASIR joined MBSB Bank as the new Chief People Officer on April 19, 2021.  With experience in Human Resources (HR) disciplines spanning over two decades, Farid brings a wealth of professional insights having had career exposures abroad and across industries, ranging from telecommunications, insurance to fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and banking. Upon graduation in 1994, he started with Telekom Malaysia Bhd (TM), specializing in HR restructuring, training, succession planning, total rewards, organizational development and policies & procedures. He then moved to focus on performance and rewards management at the country’s then-largest national insurer, Malaysia National Insurance Bhd (MNI).
Ten years on, Swiss multinational food and drink processing conglomerate Nestle took him on board in 2004, where he assumed various HR roles in Malaysia, Switzerland, The Philippines and South Africa. Upon his return under the TalentCorp’s Returning Expert Programme (REP), Farid was appointed as the Chief Human Capital Officer at Bank Kerjasama Rakyat Malaysia Bhd in 2016. 
Thereafter, he returned to TM to assume a similar post until December 2020. Being a proponent of continuous professional education, Farid has added several business and leadership programmes into his curriculum vitae – with certifications from Cambridge Judge Business School; Said
Business School at University of Oxford; Institut Européen d’Administration des Affaires, or popularly known as INSEAD; and the Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Switzerland. He took centre stage internationally when he was awarded the “Upcoming Personality in Islamic Finance 2017” at the Global Islamic Finance Awards (GIFA) 2017, held in Kazakhstan; and the “CHRO of the Year” at the World HRD Congress 2018 in India.  A strong advocate of leadership
excellence initiatives for the younger generation of workforce, Farid is presently the Vice-President of Malaysian Employer Federation (MEF).
NADIAH TAN ABDULLAH is the Chief Human Resources Officer of S P Setia Berhad, and comes with more than 20 years of HR expertise, with focus on Organizational Development and Change Management. Her experiences span across both local and Fortune 500 multinationals in various industries with local/regional and HQ roles, winning regional and global awards for her contributions. This has given her both breadth and depth of understanding for the business, and ability to connect business results through creative People strategies. A graduate of BA International Relations from the UK, she has the advantage of looking at HR from a global and holistic perspectives.. Her expertise lies in driving Change initiatives focusing on developing the optimum organizational structure, attracting the best talent using creative and strategic channels.
Her passion has always been in the work around Women and Leadership and has played lead roles within diversity advocate initiatives with TalentCorp, Advisor to Gorgeous Geeks and CyberJaya Women network, Board of Advisors for Accelerate (a Social Enterprise working with youth employment issues) and now the Lead for the HR work stream for the 30% Club in Malaysia at the national level. She is also an elected Council Member for the Malaysian Employers Federation since 2018. A strong believer in Coaching and Mentoring as she is often invited to be involved
in mentoring programs such as with Lean In and was called upon to be a Coach with the Global Institute for Leadership Development (GILD) Program for the Singapore Cohort in 2018. She is a certified Coach and an NLP Practitioner.  Her contribution has been recognised through a number of Awards; Women Leadership Achievement Award at the 2nd World Women Leadership Congress Award 2015 in Mumbai;  the Top 50 HR Leaders Award (Malaysia) by World HRD Congress in April 2017; the prestigious Asia HRD Award in 2017; the Top 100 Global HR Leaders Award at the World HRD Congress 2018 in Mumbai; and most recently, on 15th August 2019, she was awarded the HR Leader with CSR Initiatives at the Asia’s Best Employer Brand Awards in Singapore. In September 2020, she was awarded HR Best Leader of the year by HRM Asia.
